Welcome and Garland Christmas Tree Craft

Hi and welcome to my new blog. Some of you already know me from my other blog Rusin Roundup. I wanted to change the name and style somewhat since I have been making several positive changes in my life. A new start and a new beginning for the most part that is. For those of you who don't know me I'm Michelle, a wife and mother of 2.
My goal with the new blog is to share recipes as I learn them and still share photo's and stories like before. My intention is to be more positive and do less tributes to my parents.
I did however want to share a Christmas craft I was taught years ago with you for my first post.

Garland Christmas Tree

You will need:

• 4 metal hangers
• garland (I used 3 small) your choice
• 1 (35 count) tree lights
• tape or twist ties

Instructions:
Connect 2 hangers together as in the photo below and tape or twist tie top together. Repeat with other 2 hangers.

Put one set of hangers through other set of hangers as in photo below. This creates your tree
frame.

Next wrap the lights in a circular motion around the frame using tape or twist ties.

Then wrap garland starting at top around in circle to bottom of the tree also with tape or twist ties. See photo below.

Wah lah now you have a garland Christmas tree. Enjoy!

Hey Suz, glad to to be back. I'm hoping my writers block is fading.

Hi Eric, Long time no see. Really missed talking to you but hopefully I can get my writings up but will be difficult for a few. Got to go to library for now to make my posts.

Hi Amel, Missed talking to you. Told you I would be back.
